Welcome to August update!

I hope everyone is keeping happy, healthy and safe 😊

Since the last update in June we have been working on various bug fixes and our new improvement for electronic forms in the Workplace Inspections Module.

NOTE: This is currently only available in the web app…. More info below.

So let’s do this!!

 

General Fixes

–          Tool tip included for multiple Sites in Site Master so this will assist further for Sites that are ‘Private’.

–          When scheduling training, if the site is selected the employees for that site will display in attendance; Refer to July Update.

–          Contractor Register issue with downloading document resolved.

–          When Scheduling CAT’s or Training, the Participants select table enables you select only those in the dropdown that you choose. You do not need to hold down the control / command button.  The function for Select All and Delete All remains the same.

–          Some issues with Archiving documents have been resolved.

–          Training Register and CAT Register fix on table when scrolling across to enable view last training / cat.

–          Incident management issue with screen freezing while uploading multiple attachments resolved.

 

Improvements

–          From the Admin Panel we can produce a Recent Login Users Report. Should you ever require this, please send me a request.

–          Filter for Doc Type will only display Document Types that have been created in Documentation Module.   Additionally, these will be same in Plant Register > Risk Assessment and Training Master > Approved Document.

–          Incident Date and Time calendar changed which is much easier to use in web app.

***Electronic Forms for Workplace Inspections***

Righto! I have saves the best for last…

Moving forward all your inspections can be completed using an an electronic form rather than having to download the linked Form from Approved Documents.

The catch is, the electronic forms need to be created.

I have attached a Manual with instructions on how this is done along with an Order Form, should you wish to have this service completed on your behalf.

Once the electronic forms have been populated, they will display and the function is currently only available in the Web App NOT the Mobile App.  Remember, Sherm is a web-based application so it is just a matter of opening Google or Safari on your phone or tablet and going to the URL https://shermsoftware.com.au

I have been advised by the Mobile Development Team that the mobile app will be available by mid-late September.

If you would like your existing inspection forms to be populated in Type of Inspection, then please complete the attached Order Form and email this to Marnie.

Otherwise, please refer to the Manual and follow the process.

Out of Office
